Bed & BreakfastGrand Hotel Croce di Malta, Tuscany
The Croce di Malta is located on Viale IV Novembre, an elegant avenue bordering the thermal baths in Montecatini Terme. Facilities include an outdoor pool and a spa with a heated indoor pool with chromotherapy. Restaurant Le Anfore is open every day.
Grand Hotel Croce di Malta features design rooms and suites with free WiFi and LCD satellite TV, Some rooms have a balcony with views of the park, swimming pool, or the main street.Day 1 - Fly to Pisa
You will fly directly to Pisa Airport, where you will be met by a Topflight representative and transferred to the beautiful 4 star Grand Hotel Croce di Malta in Montecatini Terme. On your first evening, you will have an evening meal provided at your hotel.Day 2 - At Your Leisure
This is the perfect time to take it easy and explore your surroundings in the quaint and peaceful spa town of Montecatini. Enjoy a delicious breakfast before you head out and perhaps stroll through the beautiful pinewood park or take to one of the many cafés or restaurants for a coffee or some delicious Tuscan food. If you want to use the day to explore further afield, we can help you to organise an excursion. We suggest a half day tour to Pistoia, by train.
Day 3 - Pietrasanta & Viareggio
Enjoy a wholesome breakfast at your hotel before being picked up by private coach to embark on an excursion to the beautiful, elegant Tuscan coastal towns of Pietrasanta & Viareggio. At the foothill of the Apuan Alps, Pietrasanta is an absolutely beautiful town, with streets lined with fabulous restaurants and cafés and a square that showcases seasonal outdoor art exhibitions often made of the area's famous marble. You will take a 1.5 hour walking tour of the town before taking some free time to explore by yourself and perhaps enjoy some lunch.
You will then transfer on to Viareggio to enjoy a stroll along the beach front promenade to the harbour, before being returned to your hotel where you will be provided with a delicious evening meal.
Day 4 - At Your Leisure
You have another day to spend as you please, so you can perhaps choose to relax and take it easy by the pool. If you are still thirsty for activities, we suggest taking the cable car, payable locally, to the medieval part of Montecatini Alto which provides amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Or if you want to go further afield, a full day trip to the beautiful Cinque Terre could be just what you're after. Speak to our Resort Manager who will help to arrange the trip, taken by train. Dinner will once again be provided at your hotel's beautiful restaurant.Day 5 - Andrea Bocelli Concert
Spend the morning at your leisure and make sure to enjoy a good hearty breakfast at your hotel. Today is going to be a great one!
You will leave Montecatini in the afternoon and be transferred to the idyllic Tuscan countryside. Before the concert you will be treated to a tasting of some local Tuscan delicacies at a country estate. Here, you can see how the Tuscans live, sampling the food and taking in the glorious countryside.
Afterwards, the show you have been waiting for - the magnificent tenor Andrea Bocelli opens his home-town’s doors for an incredibly unique experience. The theatre here holds only holds a couple of concerts by Bocelli in the summer and then falls silent for the rest of the year, giving it its name ‘Teatro del Silenzio’ or the Theatre of Silence. Be a part of this atmospheric and jaw-droppingly beautiful performance while enjoying the magic of the Tuscan countryside and its surrounding enchanting hills. The combination of such natural beauty and Bocelli’s music and voice will be an absolutely treasured experience.
After what is sure to be an incredibly moving show, you will be transferred back to your hotel after midnight.

Day 6 - Lucca
Guests can have breakfast at the hotel or if, after a late night, you'd prefer to have a more lesiurely start to the day, you can enjoy an Italian Breakfast at the bar up until 11:30am with croissants, home-made cake and tea or coffee. In the afternoon, you will set off by train, for a half day excursion the the beautiful town of Lucca, accommpanied by your tour guide. Renowned for its well preserved Renaissance walls which encirlce its historic city centre, Lucca was also home to the world famous opera composer Giacomo Puccini. You will enjoy a 1.5 hour guided walking tour of the city's fascinating historical landmarks and take in its quaint and rustic beauty. You'll also be invited to do a tasting of some local products here too. Afterwards, take the train back to Montecatini in time to enjoy your evening meal.Day 7 - Florence
After breakfast this morning, you will take a local train from Montecatini to Florence, the capital of Tuscany. This are and cultural metropolis is a must for all visitors to Tuscany. The Cathedral of Florence dominates the city scape and the beauty is sure to impress you. You will visit some of the city’s most interesting sights on your guided tour. Afterwards, you will have some time to explore the area on your own time to visit some of the beautiful shops or to perhaps enjoy an Italian espresso. You will return to your hotel in time to savour a delicious evening meal.Day 8 - Return Home
After your final breakfast in your beautiful hotel, you will board your coach and transfer to the airport for your return home.
