Sales Agent – Brittany Ferries

Brittany Ferries is a leading passenger, holiday and freight ferry company operating direct ferry services between Ireland, France and Spain.


Job offer: Full time fixed term contract to work in Customer Sales contact centre and passenger check in at our Cork office – Sales agent & port check-in


Location: Grand Parade Cork and port operations check in Ringaskiddy


Main tasks:


-Telesales of Ferry/ Inclusive holidays reservations enquiries

-Front office sales and enquiries

-Responding to e-mail enquiries

-General administration tasks

-Passenger and freight check-in at the port


Experience required:    2-5 years experience working in customer sales or customer support roles.


Skills required:   -Excellent  customer care and sales skills, personable, dynamic and innovative.  Excellent communication skills ( written and verbal)

-Fluent English essential (French a plus but not essential)

-Computer and social media  literate. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

-Able to work in a team as well as individually. Initiative and passion for travel and  ability to think on your feet.

-Quick learner and ability to adapt to new procedures and tools


Work week: Monday to Saturday split between office and port check in. No remote working.

Must be flexible with working hours, willing to work week-end shift during sale busy season (January /February) and then from April to October for check-in duties (at Ringaksiddy).


Competitive salary.

Continuous in-house training and support in a small team environment

37.5 hr week (ad hoc overtime might be required in line with business needs)

1 year contract
