Further update from Royal Caribbean re: Aer Lingus
Please see below a further update from Royal Caribbean regarding the ongoing situation with Aer Lingus. We’ve had updates overnight/this morning from our teams who are facilitating the necessary changes.

We are now in the process of contacting the guests affected directly to work with them on the best options available. In an ideal world we would go through the booking agent but, as this is so time sensitive, this is the quickest way forward. This is normal procedure for our Emergency Travel Team in cases of disruptions, missed flights/connections etc. and it has proven most efficient and the quickest way to a solution for our mutual customers.

For guests who have booked a fly/cruise package with Royal Caribbean, we are working with them on alternative options and hoping to retain them on their currently booked sailings. Please see further information on this below:

 If the new flights require the guest to arrive at the homeport destination earlier, then hotel accommodation will be provided.
 If a transfer is required, we will provide onboard credit to their cruise account to compensate for this.
 If the guest does not want to take the alternative options provided or we are unable to find a suitable alternative, we will try to retain the booking by providing other cruising options to the customer.
 In the case of fly/cruise guests rejecting the alternatives offered, we will see if they would be interested in moving their sailing to a later date. If this is also not acceptable to the guest we will provide them with a full refund.

We hope this clarifies any pending questions you may have around the situation this week.

As always, if you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.

      Kind Regards,
      Michelle Ryan
