Over 125 exhibitors set course for 2019 Irish Travel Trade Show

The Official Irish Travel Trade Show takes place in Hall 3 of RDS Main Hall Complex, Dublin 4, next Thursday, 21st March 2019. The official trade show of the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA), now in its fifth year, is open to all licensed travel agents and tour operators and promises to be a fantastic day out with over 125 exhibitors, prize giveaways throughout the day and a schedule of social events. The show is FREE to register for all Irish travel professionals.
This one-day event is Ireland’s largest ever travel trade show and an unrivalled opportunity for travel professionals to connect face-to-face with over 125 of the world’s best-know and most exciting brands including airlines, National and Regional Tourist Organisations, Bedbanks, Car Hire and Rail companies, Ocean and River Cruise companies, Technology companies, Theme and Leisure Parks, Ferry companies, International Hotels and Travel Insurance companies.
There will be lots of exciting exhibitor competitions running on the day including the chance to win a week for two in Lanzarote with return flights and tickets to Art, Culture and Tourism centre included, a weekend for two in the Algarve with return flights, return flights for 2 from Dublin to Zagreb with accommodatin in the ne 4 star Lyra Plitvice, a four night stay in a 4 star hotel in Paphos, Cyrpus and lots more!
Following Travel Centres and Worldchoice management meetings, and the ITAA AGM sponsored by Travelport in the morning, the Spanish Tourist Board and Lanzarote Tourist Board will host a luncheon for invited guests from 12.30pm. At 2pm the Irish Travel Trade Show will be officially opened by ITAA President, John Spollen. A café and social hub, sponsored by Shannon Airport, will be serving free teas and coffee to visitors and exhibitors from 2pm to 7pm. The trade show will close at 7pm and guests are then invited to attend the BBQ and networking event, sponsored by Visit Portugal and TAP Air Portugal. Other sponsors of the event include Dublin Airport.

Dawson continued, “For the second time, we have decided extended the show hours to 7pm on Thursday to better accommodate counter staff and ensure that they too reap the benefits of the annual event. Organised on behalf of the ITAA, by Business Exhibitions, the show is the most important trade event in our calendar as it is specifically designed to benefit members.”
