ITAA host VAT Training for Members
The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) hosted a series of VAT Training Sessions for its members this month. The training sessions, organised by ISME Skillnet, were held in Buswells Hotel, Dublin, on 15th June, the Imperial Hotel, Cork on 21st June and today, 22nd June, the ITAA hosted a webinar for participants.
Dermot O’Brien, an independent VAT consultant, led the training for over 40 travel professionals. Dermot has a wealth of experience across a range of business areas, having worked in VAT in both the private and public sectors throughout his career.
Pat Dawson, CEO of the ITAA, commented, “We are delighted to have Dermot O’Brien, an expert in travel VAT, leading these training sessions. The ITAA strives to offer its members opportunities for training and professional development. This was a very successful training programme and we hope to host similar programmes in the coming months.”
