ITAA congratulates Tour America on winning Deloitte’s Best Managed Company Platinum Award

Dublin, 17^th May 2016  The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) congratulates Tour America on being awarded Deloitte’s Best Managed Company Award for the seventh consecutive year in a row. The US tour operator accepted the prestigious award at the Deloitte’s 2016 Best Managed Companies Awards Ceremony held in Dublin’s Convention Centre.

Tour America was founded over 20 years ago by Managing Director Mary McKenna and has been a member of the ITAA for many years. The company was awarded the Platinum Award after receiving the Best Managed status for seven consecutive years.

The Deloitte Best Managed Companies programme, in association with Barclays Bank Ireland, promotes and recognises excellence in Irish owned and managed companies. It is the only awards scheme on the island of Ireland that considers a business’ performance from every perspective. Entrants to the programme will compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices.
