ITAA in full support of increased traffic through Cork Airport
TRAINING DATE: 08/08/2019
Dublin, 6th October 2015 The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) welcome the range of new routes serving Cork Airport in 2015/16. Already this year Flybe launched their new Cork/Cardiff route. In 2016 CityJet will open their Cork/London City route, Aer Lingus will begin a new Cork/Dusseldorf route and Norwegian Airlines will launch their hotly anticipated Barcelona/Cork/Boston route.
Pat Dawson, CEO of the ITAA said, “We’re delighted to see the expansion of routes through Cork Airport and we have no doubt that they will be a great success. The ITAA will be collaborating with Cork Airport over the coming months to promote these routes and ensure that the new opportunities they present are understood and utilised by Irish consumers.”
Dawson continued, “The new routes have been well received by our members who look forward to incorporating them into travel packages for business and leisure customers. We will support these routes as much as we can, and hopefully over the next couple of years more airlines will recognise the great opportunity presented by Cork Airport.”
