ITAA President Mr. Pat Dawson advises all ITAA members’ customers to report normally to their airports.

Mr. Dawson has reports from members throughout the country that the demand from the public for travel services has increased in the last 24hours as a result of the Volcanic Ash.

He maintains that these demands have come as a result of last year’s crisis.

Last year, as many people will recall, those who booked with an ITAA travel agent experienced this high service as opposed to those who experienced huge costs and huge disruption as a result of not having the back up of an ITAA travel agent.

Pat Dawson added that all customers who have booked with their local ITAA travel agent will have 24/7 support in the event that there may be any travel disruption.  Our members’ knowledge and expertise will ensure customers receive that personal service provided by an ITAA travel professional.

It is hoped that this disruption will be brief and that the travel industry will get back to normal as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, if the travelling public have any concerns or queries, contact your local ITAA travel agent and they will guide you guide you through this temporary disruption.
