Holiday bookings up 15% to escape ‘recession talk’

The Irish Examiner wrote an interesting article where it is noted that the country’s travel agents are noticing an increase in advance holiday bookings.  Consumers are reluctant to give up their summer holiday, and some feel that it’s the only time they have to escape the recession talk.

In addition, ITAA President, Pat Dawson said, “Agents are offering more special deals and they are aware that people are looking for value more so than ever”
