Downtown Madrid Segway Tour
Get to know Madrid in the most funny and entertaining way by exploring the city on board an easy-to-use Segway, the action-packed craze which is sweeping the world. The route starts at the glamorous Plaza de Callao, a square known for being the heart of cinematic and theatrical Madrid as it hosts a large number of premières and special screenings. From there, you’ll take the Gran Vía, one of the most important arteries of the city’s ‘Mile of Gold’, and the most important commercial and business district of Spain.
Carry on to Plaza de España, where you’ll see the statue of Don Quixote and his squire Sancho Panza, prominent figures created by Miguel de Cervantes, and discover the first skyscraper of Madrid. The ride continues towards the Paseo del Pintor Rosales to visit one of the most mysterious places in the city: Templo de Debob, an ancient Egyptian temple that was passed on to the Kingdom of Spain as a sign of gratefulness for its collaboration with the Egyptian Government.
From the temple, you’ll leave to the amazing Plaza de Oriente, where you’ll contemplate the most beautiful royal set under the attentive look of the First Kings of Spain.
You’ll see the spectacular Royal Palace, the Royal Theatre, Sabatini’s Royal Gardens and the Almudena’s Cathedral, mistress of the city of Madrid.
