Voting for the Irish Travel Industry Awards 2019 now open

Dublin, 2nd November 2018   The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) is excited to announce that voting for the 2019 Irish Travel Industry Awards is now open.  The Irish Travel Industry Awards, now in their ninth-year, are the premier awards for suppliers and agents in the travel industry in Ireland. They will take place in the historic Round Room at the Mansion House Dublin on Thursday, 24th January 2019.

 

The Supplier Awards feature a number of categories spanning all areas and disciplines of the travel industry including air travel, tour operators, cruise lines and ferry companies, agency services providers and destinations. This year’s awards also feature a new award category Best Supplier Promoting Travel Agents (To the Public) and Best Ski Destination category is making a come back in 2019.

 

The ITAA Member Awards highlight the excellent contribution that ITAA Travel Agents and their staff make to travel distribution in Ireland. This year new categories have been introduced to recognise the importance of on line and off line marketing campaigns. Other categories include Best Leisure Travel Professional, Best Corporate Travel Professional, Most innovative Marketing Campaign, Best Corporate Travel Agency, Travel Agency of The Year Under 10 employees and Travel Agency of The Year Over 10 employees.

 

John Spollen, President of the ITAA, commented “These prestigious awards celebrate excellence among travel professionals and providers in Ireland and offer suppliers and ITAA members the opportunity to boost their profile and reputation within the industry. They also celebrate the important relationship between travel agents and their suppliers. I would encourage all travel agents to vote for your favourite supplier and all ITAA members to enter the Irish Travel Industry Awards this year.”

 

The awards are an initiative of the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) and is organised on their behalf by Business Exhibitions Limited. Award categories are sponsored by Dublin Airport, Turkish Airlines, Hertz, Riviera Travel, Ireland West Airport, American Airlines, British Airways, Cork Airport, PortAventura World, Amadeus, The Travel Corporation, TUI, Emirates and Shannon Airport.  The event is also sponsored by Independent News & Media.
