Elephant Spotting at Kuiburi National Park – the park is known for being the best place in Thailand for observing wild elephants in their natural habitat. Due to its easily accessible open areas, it is almost sure visitors will see elephants any day*.  Kui Buri National Park is located in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, a two hour drive southwards from Hua Hin and consists of dry- and moist evergreen forests. The park is home to a large population of wild elephants in Thailand, but it doesn’t end there – it is also the top location for gaur watching – the planet’s largest bovine species and fifth largest land creature overall. Nowhere else in Thailand is the gaur population as large as the one you will find here and they can often be spotted in large groups which makes the wildlife viewing even more exciting.
