Tours Consultant required for a luxury Tour Operator in Dublin

At Adams & Butler we look after the high-end traveler to Ireland, Scotland, Britain and Africa. We are now also expanding to provide outbound luxury travel all over the world for our Irish clients. We are a small but expanding team and we all work very closely together. There is a great atmosphere in the office. We work hard, but we have a lot of fun doing so! There are a good number of events to attend when one is involved in the Travel Trade and training opportunities arising from time to time, as well as familiarisation trips both in Ireland and overseas.


Skills Requirements

The right candidate for this role will have excellent people skills and provide the most personalised care and attention to detail for our clients, who have included Michael Jackson, Kim & Kanye, Meryl Streep, Taylor Swift, Paul Ryan (Speaker of the US House of Representatives), Ex-Presidents, Ambassadors, CEOs and Presidents of such renowned companies as Disney Films, Wells Fargo and Starbucks.

To work as a part of the Adams & Butler’s team, being creative and perceptive in meeting the needs of clients is essential. Of course, being well travelled and having a real passion for travel will also benefit the expertise to be brought to this post.  A good knowledge of Ireland, Scotland & England for our inbound side of the business would also be a plus.

The candidate should be honest, reliable, fluent in spoken and written English, hard-working, flexible, responsible, team player, driven, self-motivated, punctual and have common sense. Attention to detail is an imperative requisite.


Responsibilities include

  • Driving and converting leads into sales
  • Timely response and quotation on enquiries
  • Itinerary design and revision
  • Invoicing and follow up of payment on confirmed tours
  • Relationship building with existing clients and supplies
  • Management and coordination of tours from start to finish, maintaining excellent communication and responsive solutions/guidance throughout
  • Engaging and contributing actively to meetings



This is a full-time post. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
