Aer Lingus flies direct from Dublin to Toronto

AER Lingus launched its inaugural flight from Dublin to Toronto yesterday.

The airline will operate a daily service between Dublin and Torontoin the summer and up to four weekly services operating during winter.

It is the fourth transatlantic route launch in recent months and forms part of Aer Lingus‘s transatlantic growth plan. The plan includes routes from Dublin to Toronto and San Francisco as well as the addition of three Boeing 757 aircraft to the fleet, the almost doubling of frequency on services from Shannon to Boston and New York, creating 200 jobs.

Aer Lingus Chief Strategy and Planning Officer, Stephen Kavanagh said: “The service also opens up connection to key cities withinCanada.”
